Dayro Moreno dice que su secreto y “vitamina” para hacer 353 goles es tomar licor y festejar

El pasado sábado 5 de abril, en el partido en el que Once Caldas goleó 3-0 al América de Cali por la fecha 12 de la Liga BetPlay 1-2025, Dayro Moreno convirtió un doblete que lo llevó a superar la marca de 351 goles de Radamel Falcao García y ahora es el máximo goleador colombiano con 353 anotaciones en el fútbol profesional. Pues 2 días después dio una entrevista al canal Win Sports y dejó muchas frases llamativas.

Refiriéndose a la celebración especial en el estadio, con una corona y capa de ‘rey del gol’, pasando por la fiesta que tuvo esa misma noche con gran cantidad de personas y refiriéndose al consumo de licor, Dayro habló sin filtros y sin secretos. Algo que ha dado para que muchos lo tomen con gracia, pero otros también apuntan que no es el mensaje para los jóvenes que lo tienen como ejemplo y referente.

Y a pesar de que muchas veces han llegado críticas porque Moreno se muestra en fiestas, consumiendo bebidas alcohólicas y también se han revelado permisos especiales para sus celebraciones, en la madrugada posterior a conseguir el récord se vio un nuevo video de una fiesta muy concurrida en la que el nacido en Chicoral (Tolima) era el centro.

Sobre la corona y la capa que se puso al anotar el segundo gol en el partido contra América, el ídolo del Once Caldas contó en el programa ‘Despierta Win’: “Tenemos un grupo muy lindo; los compañeros, el cuerpo técnico y la familia del Once Caldas, siempre he expresado que somos una familia dentro y fuera de la cancha. En el primer tiempo no esperábamos tan rápido el gol, pero les dije que en el segundo tiempo iba a hacer otro, que lo íbamos a celebrar con los ‘parceros’ de la ‘barra (brava)’. Con el utilero y con todos hicimos la previa”.

Pero lo más sonoro de esta entrevista fue lo que dijo el mismo Dayro sobre el consumo de licor: “La verdad, tengo una vitamina, todo el mundo lo sabe (risas), me encanta… El traguito es una vitamina muy especial”. Esto podría despertar cuestionamientos, pero en el caso de Dayro parece no haber argumentos en su contra, ya que tiene un físico privilegiado. Además, más allá de la vida nocturna, pocas veces se ha lesionado y a sus 39 años parece estar en una segunda juventud.

Para completar esos ‘secretos’ y su preparación para los entrenamientos y partidos, el goleador histórico colombiano habló de ese gusto por las lociones, colonias y buenos olores: “Me encanta oler rico, llego de primero, es el ‘swing’ que tengo. Me relajo, disfruto, el camerino, para mí es todo. Después de mis hijas, el Palogrande lo disfruto y me relajo muchísimo”.

Incluso, a pesar de que en sus pasos por la Selección Colombia de mayores no tuvo las mejores cifras, con 31 partidos jugados y solo 3 goles, él sigue con la idea de volver a una convocatoria de ‘la Tricolor’: “La cédula no juega, siempre lo he dicho, somos 11 contra 11. Hoy en día, el fútbol no es la cédula, no son los años, es la disposición, el sacrificio, las ganas que uno tenga de jugar y hacer las cosas bien. Siempre sueño con estar con la Selección, para mí, vestir la camiseta de mi país siempre ha sido un orgullo, por eso trabajo y no pierdo la esperanza de estar en la Selección”.

Eso sí, Dayro Mauricio Moreno Galindo no queda conforme con ser el goleador histórico de Colombia y sueña con un gol que marcó en las categorías infantiles en el mismo estadio Palogrande de Manizales, pero con la Selección del departamento del Tolima: “Tengo ganas de hacer un gol desde la mitad de cancha, lo estoy practicando y lo estoy ensayando, Dios quiera sea en el Palogrande para ‘cerrar con broche de oro’. Cuando empecé, acá en el Palogrande, con la Selección Tolima, hice un gol de mitad de cancha a la Selección Caldas. Esa fue la inspiración para que me trajeran a este equipo al que amo tanto: Once Caldas”.

Y para cerrar la polémica de sus fiestas y vida nocturna, Dayro confesó que él fue el que publicó el video de su celebración nocturna y así lo justificó en la conversación con los periodistas de Win Sports: “Claro, eso hace parte de la vida. Disfrutar”.
