Tatsächlich spielten sich vor dem Strafstoß spannende Szenen ab: Spurs-Abwehrspieler Pedro Porro (25) griff sich den Ball von Johnson, der offenbar davon ausgegangen war, sich an seinem dritten Tor zu versuchen. Porro drückte das Leder dann Kapitän Cristian Romero (26) in die Hand, der den Ball wiederum Mathys Tel aushändigte.
Johnson lenkte nach einer kurzen Diskussion ein, schien eher perplex als verärgert. Offenbar waren die Mitspieler darum bemüht, Tel ein Erfolgserlebnis zu bescheren …

Denn: Wie englische Medien berichten, will Tottenham die Leihgabe vom FC Bayern im Sommer fest verpflichten. Die Überzeugung der Klub-Bosse: Tel ist in einer sehr schweren Zeit zum Verein gestoßen und wird in der kommenden Spielzeit überzeugen.
Rund 50 Mio. Euro werden die Spurs an die Säbener Straße überweisen müssen, wenn sie wirklich an die Tel-Tottenham-Verbindung glauben.
