Se trata del actor que encarnó a ‘Daniel El Travieso’ que ha muerto al no haber podido superar una larga enfermedad que le habían diagnosticado. Así lo anunciaba Laurie Jacobson, compañera de reparto en la serie original, a través de la red social Facebook: North había fallecido “en paz en su casa” tras una larga batalla contra el cáncer.
El actor interpretó desde bien pequeño al personaje principal de ‘Dennis the Menace’. Concretamente desde los 6 años. Fue en el año 1959. ‘Daniel el Travieso’ era una serie que se basaba en la tira cómica homónima de Hank Ketcham, y tuvo 146 episodios durante cuatro temporadas.

De hecho, la divertida trama versaba sobre este joven que era muy revoltoso y que aterroriza a su anciano vecino, el Sr. George Wilson (Joseph Kearns), mediante una incansable serie de travesuras.
Una larga carrera tras su éxito de pequeño
Después de participar en la serie, en la que se hizo famoso, tuvo una papel destacado en programas como ‘El agente de Cipol’, ‘El show de Lucy’, ‘Mis tres hijos y Jericho’. Además, intervino en otras series dada su fama: Los caballeros árabes, Aquí vienen los gruñones, La hora de la aventura de los Banana Splits y El show de Pebbles y Bamm-Bamm.
La última fue en 1974. Participó en el thriller erótico de 1974 ‘The Teacher’.
