Der FC Bayern will die Kaderkosten runterschrauben!
Wie schwer das allerdings ist, haben der Rekordmeister und Sport-Boss Max Eberl (51) bei den Vertragsverlängerungen gemerkt: Jamal Musiala (22) und Alphonso Davies (24/beide bis 2030) und Joshua Kimmich (30/bis 2029) unterschrieben kürzlich neue Arbeitspapiere. Gespart hat der FC Bayern dabei nicht!
Nicht verwunderlich, sagt Ex-Sportvorstand Hasan „Brazzo“ Salihamidzic (48), der von 2017 bis 2020 zunächst Sportdirektor und von 2020 bis 2023 Sportvorstand bei den Bayern war.

Problem der Bayern war, dass sie bei den Verhandlungen in dieser Saison unter Zugzwang waren: Die Verträge von Kimmich und Davies liefen am Saisonende aus, auch Musiala hatte nur noch ein Jahr Restlaufzeit. Im schlimmsten Fall hätte der Klub zwei Stars ablösefrei verlieren können und Top-Star Musiala verkaufen müssen.
Salihamidzic auf die Frage, ob man die Verlängerungen 2023 günstiger hätte hinbekommen können: „Selbst wenn – durch meine Entlassung entstand eine neue Konstellation. Mein Grundsatz ist: Zwei Jahre vor Ende der Vertragszeit müssen die Führungsspieler, die gehalten werden sollen, verlängert werden. Andernfalls kommst du unter Druck, und die Berater gewinnen die Oberhand.“
