Beim 0:4 gegen den FC Getafe sorgte Real Valladolids Luis Perez (30) am Sonntag für einen Eklat auf der Bank. Kurz nach der Auswechslung seines Teamkollegen Juanmi Latasa (24) in der 60. Minute geht der Verteidiger auf den Stürmer los.

Beide sitzen auf der Bank, nur ein Sitzplatz trennt die beiden. Latasa hat sich bereits ein langärmeliges Shirt übergezogen, die Stutzen heruntergezogen, die Beine aufgestellt. Er hält eine Flasche in der Hand, als Perez auf ihn einredet, plötzlich zu ihm beugt und mit der rechten Faust auf ihn einschlagen will. Teamkamerad Eray Cömert kann ihn zurückhalten und schiebt ihn zurück auf den Sitz. Latasa nimmt’s einfach hin und einen Schluck aus der Flasche. Augenblicke später steht der Verteidiger auf, verlässt die Bank und kehrt später zurück.
Valladolids Trainer Álvaro Rubio, der im Februar übernommen hatte: „Es ist nicht das beste Bild, das wir abgeben können. Es sind zwei Spieler, die Freunde sind. Solche Momente können sehr angespannt sein. Solche Dinge können in solchen Momenten passieren, und wir müssen sie vermeiden.“
In einer offiziellen Klub-Mitteilung heißt es später über den Vorfall: „Wir bedauern zutiefst das Bild, das unsere Spieler abgegeben haben. Die Frustration, die die sportliche Situation bei uns allen hervorgerufen hat, muss in größeres Engagement, eine bessere Einstellung und bessere Leistung umgewandelt werden, niemals in Spaltung und Konfrontation.“
Außerdem kündigte der Klub Strafen an: „Aus diesem Grund wird Real Valladolid zur Verteidigung des Images des Klubs und aus Respekt gegenüber unseren Teamkollegen und insbesondere unseren Fans die allgemeinen Disziplinarvorschriften auf beide Spieler anwenden.“
Valladolid ist mit nur 16 Punkten derzeit Tabellenletzter in La Liga, hat 14 Punkte Rückstand auf den ersten Nicht-Abstiegsplatz. Sich zu retten, ist bei noch acht ausstehenden Spielen fast unmöglich.
