Die Münchner treffen im Viertelfinale der Champions League auf den italienischen Spitzenklub Inter Mailand – ab 21 Uhr hier im Live-Ticker.
Für Trainer-Star Jürgen Klinsmann geht sein Ex-Verein Bayern als Außenseiter in das Duell mit den Italiener, für die er selbst auch gekickt hat.
Klinsmann: Darum sind die Bayern Außenseiter gegen Inter
Im Gespräch mit „Sky“ sagt Klinsmann: „Ich denke, dass es mit dem Pech der ganzen Verletzungen beim FC Bayern schon total schwer wird.“
[–>Und weiter: „Inter hat eine Mannschaft aufgebaut über die letzten sechs, acht Jahre, die auf jeder Position wirklich doppelt besetzt ist, mit Hochkarätern. Wie es auch ja der FC Bayern hat, aber durch die ganzen Verletzungen, die jetzt passiert sind, wird es brutal schwer für den FC Bayern. Ich würde auch sagen, da darf kein FC Bayern-Fan enttäuscht sein, wenn es jetzt nicht klappen sollte, mit dem Finale im eigenen Stadion.“
Ganz abschreiben will der ehemalige Bundestrainer die Bayern aber nicht: „Können sie es schaffen? Ja, auf jeden Fall. Sie können es schaffen. Aber Inter ist eine harte Nuss und für mich haben die ein bisschen mehr den Favoritenstatus für dieses Viertelfinale als der FC Bayern.“

Bei Klinsmann schlagen bei dem Aufeinandertreffen der Bayern mit Inter zwei Herzen in seiner Brust. Er hat für beide Klubs gespielt, die Bayern sogar später trainiert.
Bei den Mailänder kommt er aber ins Schwärmen: „Ich bin mit beiden Klubs nach wie vor viel in Kontakt und meine Inter-Mannschaft war etwas ganz Besonderes, weil ich als junger Kerl kam, das war der erste große Schritt ins Ausland, da waren Lothar Matthäus und Andy Brehme schon dort, die haben die Meisterschaft gleich gewonnen.“
Klinsmann weiter: „Und ich durfte so viel lernen in Italien, also nicht nur auf dem Platz, sondern vor allem außerhalb des Platzes. Man reift dann, man lernt eine neue Sprache und Kultur kennen. Und deswegen war das wahrscheinlich der wichtigste Schritt in meiner Karriere, der zu Inter Mailand. Und wir haben nach wie vor eine WhatsApp-Gruppe, die 1991 den UEFA Cup geholt hat. Also wir simsen uns jeden Tag die Dinger hin und her und jetzt geht es natürlich schon ein bisschen heißer zu, weil auch Lothar für Inter gespielt hat und da werden halt die Sprüche gemacht.“
Für Klinsmann kann es bei dem Duell also nur Gewinner geben …

During the boxing event of the 2025 Khelo India University Games (KIUG) in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, Bharti represented Maharshi Dayanand University, Haryana in the women’s minimum (45-48kg) category and hauled in a silver, while Devika Satyajit Ghorpade represented Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra in the women’s fly 52kg and captured a gold as expected. Both the athletes come from very different socio-economic backgrounds. 23-year-old Bharti’s father does labour work at a brick factory, earning Rs 250-300 per day. Devika’s father, on the other hand, has his own company in the construction business. Frankly, both athletes deserve a lot of credit.
