CBF ensaia corrida por novo técnico, mas engatinha na escolha; entenda processo

A CBF prometeu acelerar a busca por um novo técnico para a seleção brasileira quando completou-se uma semana da demissão de Dorival Jr. Mas até agora não houve movimentação oficial.

A estratégia passa por uma definição até o fim de maio, sem pressa, para que não se erre na escolha e as oportunidades concretas por ventura apareçam até lá.

Enquanto isso, e sem um norte definido, os funcionários da seleção brasileira seguem o trabalho de produção de relatórios para a nova comissão técnica, sem saber o seu perfil.

O nome favorito e plano A da CBF neste momento é Jorge Jesus, mas o presidente Ednaldo Rodrigues sonhava com Carlo Ancelotti, do Real Madrid. Ambos se dispuseram a vir após o Mundial de Clubes.

Com a necessidade de um nome até a data Fifa de junho, outras opções foram colocadas na mesa, como Abel Ferreira, do Palmeiras, cujo contrato se encerra no fim do ano.

Tiro certo

Após se reunir com os profissionais da Seleção, Ednaldo Rodrigues ficou de iniciar os contatos com os candidatos, mas a ideia é apresentar proposta a quem já se sabe que irá aceitá-la.

Nesse cenário, interlocutores da CBF admitem que a concorrência com o futebol árabe pode atrapalhar a CBF até o Mundial de Clubes. Por isso, a entidade também engatilha no processo de escolha.

O Brasil encara Equador e Paraguai em junho pelas Eliminatórias. A expectativa é que Neymar esteja de volta à seleção na próxima data Fifa. Resta saber se terá peso na escolha do treinador.
