Vor elf Jahren steckte Lukas Raeder als Torwart-Talent bei Bayern in einer ähnlichen Situation wie jetzt Jonas Urbig. Im Interview mit SPORT BILD spricht der heutige Berater für Profisportler über seine Erlebnisse als plötzlicher Vertreter von Weltstar Manuel Neuer, seine Lehren und die Schwierigkeiten junger Torhüter beim Rekordmeister.
SPORT BILD: Bayerns junger Torwart Jonas Urbig (21) steht gerade als Neuer-Vertreter im Fokus – wie sehr erinnert Sie seine an Ihre Situation beim Rekordmeister vor gut zehn Jahren?
Lukas Raeder (31): Ich kann das, was Jonas Urbig gerade erlebt, gut nachempfinden. Meine Situation damals kann man insofern mit seiner vergleichen, dass ich als Torwart-Talent plötzlich für Manuel Neuer ins kalte Wasser geworfen wurde. Zudem durfte ich auch täglich mit diesem Weltstar arbeiten. Allerdings war ich nicht Manus Kronprinz. Dadurch hatte ich weniger Druck als Urbig jetzt.
[–>Im April 2014 verletzte sich Neuer im Liga-Duell gegen Dortmund, sie mussten zur Halbzeit ins Bayern-Tor. Urbig gab sein Profi-Debüt zuletzt in der Champions League gegen Leverkusen, als Neuer ebenfalls nicht mehr weiterspielen konnte. Worauf kommt es in solch einer Situation für einen jungen Torwart in einem entscheidenden Spiel für den Rekordmeister vor knapp 70.000 Zuschauern und Millionen vor dem TV an?
Für uns beide war gut, dass wir keine Zeit zum Nachdenken hatten. Ich glaube, dass unser damaliger Torwart-Trainer Toni Tapalović aufgeregter war als ich selbst. Er sagte, dass es Weltklasse wäre, wenn ich mich immer so warm machen würde wie in diesem Moment (lacht).
Was hat er Ihnen noch mit auf den Weg gegeben?
Zum Beispiel, dass ich bei Pässen und bei der Spieleröffnung am Anfang die sichere Variante wählen soll, um erst mal gut in die Partie zu kommen. Und einfach auf die eigene Stärke zu vertrauen. Plötzlich schauen nicht nur die Fans im Stadion, sondern ganz Fußball-Deutschland auf dich.
Lukas Raeder war von 2012 bis 2014 beim FC Bayern. Danach spielte er unter anderem für den MSV Duisburg und in Bulgarien. Mit 29 beendete Raeder seine Karriere, berät nun Profisportler

Und dann standen Sie wie Urbig im Spiel darauf von Beginn an im Kasten der Münchner. Wie wichtig ist die Unterstützung der berühmten Mannschaftskollegen?
Es hilft ungemein, wenn die erfahrenen Profis – wie bei mir damals vor allem Philipp Lahm und Dante – im Training viel mit Dir sprechen. Unser damaliger Trainer Pep Guardiola hat mir taktische Dinge erklärt und mich natürlich auch einige Male in den Arm genommen, was er ja grundsätzlich gerne mit seinen Spielern macht.
Inwiefern wird Urbig von Neuer, der noch eine Saison dranhängt, profitieren?
Gerade im Training ist Manu immer sehr offen, gibt Tipps, sucht das Gespräch.

Was haben Sie besprochen?
Es ging zum Beispiel darum: Wie verhalte ich mich, wenn ein langer Ball – wann gehe ich raus, wann bleibe ich im Kasten.
Was war das Wichtigste, was er Ihnen mitgegeben und vorgelebt hat?
Dass ich bei meinem Spiel bleiben, auf meine Fähigkeiten vertrauen soll – auch wenn Gegenwind kommt. Manu hatte es anfangs schwer bei Bayern, es gab Pfiffe, Pöbeleien und Ablehnung von einigen Fans. Mir hat imponiert, dass er sich dadurch nicht hat unterkriegen lassen. Er hat auch seine offensive Spielweise immer durchgezogen.
Neuer ist seit 2011 die unangefochtene Nummer eins. Ist Bayern ein schlechtes Pflaster für junge Torhüter?
In der Vergangenheit war es so, dass Manu niemandem irgendein Spiel zugestanden hat, er wollte immer alle machen. Daher war Bayern zuletzt ein schlechtes Pflaster für Torwart-Talente. Sich ausleihen zu lassen, war in den letzten Jahren auf jeden Fall die bessere Variante als auf der Bank zu versauern. Ich bin mal gespannt, wie das abläuft, wenn Urbig nächste Saison auch mal Spielpraxis bekommen soll, wenn Manu fit ist. Was lässt Neuer zu, hält Urbig dem Druck stand? Das wird extrem spannend.
