Der TBV Lemgo Lippe gewinnt das Nachholspiel gegen den VfL Potsdam in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga ohne Mühe 32:23 (18:12) und bleibt damit zu Hause ungeschlagen.
Für einen Zuschauer ist dieses Duell ein ganz besonderer Abend. Denn am 15. Dezember wurde dieses Bundesligaspiel wegen eines medizinischen Notfalls nach nur neun Minuten Spielzeit (6:3) abgebrochen.

Grund: Der Zuschauer erlitt auf der Tribüne einen Herzinfarkt. Durch das schnelle Eingreifen der Sanitäter und der Not-Ärztin vor Ort konnte der Mann reanimiert und gerettet werden. Am Donnerstag war er beim Nachholspiel zum ersten Mal wieder live in der Halle und freute sich über das Foto mit beiden Mannschaften vor dem Anpfiff.
Die Familie des Fans war tief berührt von der wertvollen Arbeit der freiwilligen Helfer, deshalb stand die Partie dieses Mal unter dem Motto „Lebensretter-Spieltag“. Dabei gedenken die Lemgoer Spieler in Sondershirts auch ihrem verstorbenen langjährigen Physio (1982 bis 2017) Rüdiger Risch mit einer Schweigeminute.
Reanimierter Fan zum ersten Mal wieder live beim Handball
Sich selbst aus dem Tabellenkeller retten, schafft der VfL Potsdam auf dem Parkett wieder nicht. Der TBV Lemgo Lippe hat keine Mühe. Potsdam ist nur 18 Minuten lang ebenbürtig (8:8). Dabei liegt die Mannschaft von Trainer Emir Kurtagic (44) in der Anfangsphase mehrfach mit drei Toren vorn. Doch dann wieder ein schlimmer Rückfall. Im Angriff häufen sich wie so oft Abspielfehler, vergebene Torchancen und Ballverluste jeder Art. Zu harmlos und verzweifelt agiert der Tabellenletzte. Von Bissigkeit und Leidenschaft aus dem Hinspiel (21:22) nichts zu sehen.

Lemgos Frederik Simak (27) dagegen ganz entspannt: „Wir wollten es Potsdam mit unserer kompakten Abwehr wieder schwer machen, das hat gut funktioniert. Gegen Hamburg waren wir nicht voll da. Das haben wir jetzt besser gelöst.“
