A Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA), do Ministério da Fazenda, suspendeu provisoriamente o funcionamento de quatro empresas operadoras de apostas on-line donas de dez marcas. A medida atinge a Pixbet, empresa de apostas esportivas patrocinadora do Flamengo.
A portaria publicada nesta sexta-feira suspende o funcionamento por noventa dias, ficando a empresa “proibida de explorar a modalidade lotérica aposta de quota fixa sem a certificação necessária”. O texto diz ainda que, durante o período de suspensão, a empresa poderá manter suas plataformas exclusivamente para fins de garantia dos direitos de acesso dos usuários para retirada de recursos de sua titularidade.
O documento afirma que a suspensão se deve ao não atendimento de um artigo de uma portaria do ano passado que estabelece que as empresas devem apresentar certificados técnicos e sistema de apostas emitidos por entidade certificadora com capacidade reconhecida pela Fazenda.
O mesmo artigo diz que o descumprimento dos prazos resultará na suspensão, pelo período de até noventa dias, da autorização em caráter provisório, ficando a empresa proibida de explorar a modalidade lotérica aposta de quota fixa sem a certificação necessária.
A Pixbet está autorizada a operar as marcas Pixbet, Flabet e Bet da Sorte.
A suspensão também atinge a Caixa Loterias, estatal vinculada à Caixa Econômica Federal autorizada a ter três marcas de apostas que ainda não estão em operação. Outra empresa atingida foi a 7MBR, da marca Cbet. E a TQJ, dona das marcas Baú Bingo, Tele Sena Bet e Bet do Milhão.
Todas as empresas foram procuradas, mas não se manifestaram até o momento.
