Walter Casagrande, após Palmeiras x Corinthians, não aliviou para Memphis Depay. Discreto no clássico pelo Campeonato Brasileiro, o holandês passou em branco no “atropelo” sofrido pelo Timão. Neste cenário, diante do salário astronômico do camisa 10, o ex-jogador vê uma discrepância atrelada aos ganhos milionários pagos pela diretoria.
“O Memphis pode fazer o que quiser dentro de campo. Jamais vai ter um empate no custo-benefício. Ganhou 95% do prêmio do Paulista. Dá três passes e são R$ 3 milhões. Dá dois chutes no gol e são mais R$ 4 milhões.”, disse Casão, no Fim de Papo, no UOL Esporte.
Trazendo uma comparação, Casagrande considera que até mesmo Pelé, ao cumprir metas espetaculares, seria capaz de ganhar o salário de Memphis. Por conta disso, o comentarista reforçou o desempenho no Corinthians que não faz jus aos vencimentos milionários.
“Talvez o Pelé conseguisse empatar o que o Memphis ganha com a bola em campo. Acho que nem o Pelé seria capaz de fazer alguma coisa tão importante para esse (custo). O Memphis está muito distante do que é o contrato dele e a bola dele. É completamente desproporcional.”, afirmou.
Exigência de Casagrande
Na percepção de Casagrande, Depay é uma das decepções nas partidas fora de casa do Corinthians. Levando em conta o status dentro e fora de campo do atacante, o ex-jogador destacou a necessidade de um rendimento mais regular longe da Neo Química Arena.
“Ele tem que jogar fora de casa. Ele joga muito na Arena do Corinthians. Mas, fora de casa, fica muito fora do jogo. Ele não jogou contra o Bahia e contra o América de Cali. Jogou contra o Barcelona-EQU, que o Corinthians tomou 3 a 0, e na péssima partida com o time venezuelano.”
“Nesses jogos mais importantes fora de casa, ele não aparece no jogo. Ele busca a bola em lugares totalmente mortos. Ele domina a bola, toca e dá lançamentos, mas longe de uma posição que possa criar algo.”, prosseguiu.
Postura de Memphis no Dérbi
De acordo com Casagrande, Depay ficou “disperso” na Arena Barueri, algo que facilitou a marcação do Palmeiras. Embora o holandês tenha causado um grande impacto, o ídolo do Corinthians espera apresentações com um nível de brilho constante.
“O Memphis, talvez, não tenha entendido o que é Corinthians x Palmeiras. É um grande jogador, aumentou o nível técnico do Corinthians, mas não aparece fora de casa. Muitas vezes, ele fica disperso.”, opinou.
