Rashee Rice completed a six-game suspension after pleading guilty to two felony charges relating to his involvement in a 2024 multi-car crash in Dallas. Clemson WR Bryant Wesco out for season after suffering spinal injury on punt return vs. SMU
Clemson wide receiver Bryant Wesco Jr. will miss the rest of the 2025 season after he was injured in a scary play during Saturday’s loss to SMU.Wesco got flipped over while returning a punt and landed on his head. He was able to jog off the field after the play, but didn’t return to the game and was transported to a hospital. Wesco was released from the hospital on Monday, and coach Dabo Swinney said that the star receiver suffered a back injury. Swinney told reporters Monday that Wesco suffered a “very scary” injury, but that the sophomore is expected to make a full recovery.Per On3’s Tiger Illustrated, Wesco suffered a spinal contusion.
