Dem Bericht zufolge wird der Druck nicht mehr lange auf Ancelotti lasten: Nach dem „Copa del Rey“-Finale am 26. April gegen Barcelona soll Schluss sein!
Ancelotti selbst äußerte bereits Zweifel an seiner Zukunft bei den Königlichen: „Vielleicht entscheidet der Klub, mich zu ersetzen, vielleicht dieses Jahr oder nächstes Jahr.“ Doch egal wann, er werde dem Verein dankbar sein.
Behält „Sky Sports“, soll der Italiener also noch bis zum Finale in Sevilla im Amt bleiben. Doch was kommt dann? Brasilien hat bereits Interesse angemeldet, will ihn als neuen National-Coach. Eine Entscheidung könnte dem Bericht zufolge noch vor Ende der Saison in Spanien fallen.
