Das Aus der Bayern im Viertelfinale der Champions League gegen Inter Mailand ließ Innenverteidiger Minjae Kim (28) nicht gut dastehen. Kopfball–Duell vor dem Inter–Ausgleich verloren, ebenso den Luft–Zweikampf vor dem 1:2.
Im BILD–Podcast „Bayern Insider“ wird jetzt aufgeklärt, was an dem Gerücht um einen Kim–Abgang dran ist!
Chefreporter Tobias Altschäffl: „Wenn jemand kommt und sie bieten an in Richtung, was die Bayern gezahlt hatten, das waren 50 Mio., dann würde man jetzt nicht sagen, ist kein Thema. Die Ehe zwischen Minjae Kim und den Bayern ist eine schwierige. Er wird alles für den Verein machen, aber er ist kein Abwehrmonster.“
Altschäffl: „Minjae Kim hat in der Crunchtime nicht geliefert“
„Er gibt alles für den Verein und probiert, aber letztes Jahr Champions-League-Aus gegen Real Madrid dieses Hinspiel im Halbfinale: Er verschuldet einen Elfmeter, sieht bei einem Gegentor nicht so gut aus. In der Crunchtime hat er nicht geliefert, das wissen auch die Bayern-Bosse. Also ich denke, wenn es ein Angebot gäbe, wären sie gesprächsbereit.“

BILD-Fußball-Chef Christian Falk ergänzt: „Er ist ein sehr guter Verteidiger, wenn er einen Abwehrchef neben sich hat. (…) Es gab eine Schlüsselszene gegen Inter. Eric Dier ist nicht schnell, er war zu langsam in einem Laufduell und hat hinterherlaufend seinem Gegenspieler immer Kim gedeutet „Du musst rausrücken, du musst auf den draufgehen.“ Und das hat er mit Bravour gemacht. Ich glaube, wenn der einen Mann neben sich hätte, der Anweisungen gibt, würde das super funktionieren. Dann hätten wir ein Monster bei Bayern.“
Tobias Altschäffl: „Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass er zur neuen Saison weg ist, ist nicht allzu hoch, weil wer zahlt dieses Geld? Er hat ja auch eine Ausstiegsklausel im Vertrag stehen (110 oder 120 Mio.). Die Bayern wären bei deutlich weniger als die Hälfte gesprächsbereit, aber dass das jetzt passiert, ich sehe es nicht unbedingt kommen. (…)“
Falls Kim aber doch im Sommer den Verein wechseln würde, hat man an der Säbener Straße bereits einen Mann aus der Premier League im Hut.
Christian Falk: „Bayern hat Dean Huijsen auf dem Zettel, der kostet 60 Mio. Ausstiegsklausel aus England, vielleicht könnte man da das Geld investieren. Aber noch ist er [Kim] da, noch bekommt er vielleicht eine Chance.“

Luke Keaschall injury: Twins’ hot-hitting rookie suffers broken forearm
Matt Krohn Minnesota Twins promising rookie infielder/outfielder Luke Keaschall suffered a nondisplaced fracture in his right forearm on Friday, the club told reporters following the Twins' 11-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Keaschall suffered the injury when he was struck by a pitch from Kyle Hendricks in the first inning. Keaschall, in the lineup at DH, was able to run the bases after being hit on the arm, but he was pinch-hit for when his spot came up again in the bottom of the third. According to Twins dugout reporter Audra Martin, the club does not have a timetable for Keaschall's return. That the fracture is nondisplaced is a positive, but it still figures to be a lengthy absence for the 22-year-old.
