Em sua tradicional coluna na Folha de S.Paulo, o ex-jogador salientou o poderio individual da equipe espanhola, sobretudo com a chegada de Bellingham e Mbappé. Por outro lado, entende que o coletivo já não possui a mesma força de antes.
“O Real Madrid não tem mais o equilíbrio, o jogo coletivo e a eficiência defensiva que tinha quando jogava com um trio no meio-campo: Casemiro, Modrić e Kroos, e outro no ataque com Vini, Rodrygo e Benzema (um centroavante artilheiro e armador)”, escreveu Tostão.

O mesmo Saka abriria o placar no segundo tempo. Em uma bobeira na saída de bola, Vinicius Júnior aproveitou para empatar. Na última bola, Gabriel Martinelli ganhou da marcação e garantiu o Arsenal na semifinal.

O futuro de Carlo Ancelotti é um grande ponto de interrogação no Real Madrid. Fora da Champions, os Merengues apostam no título espanhol, mas o Barcelona não dá brechas e parece cada vez mais perto de conquistar a LaLiga.
Ao mesmo tempo, o nome do italiano é cotado para assumir a seleção brasileira. Indagado, preferiu não se aprofundar no tema.
