Travis Kelce - English

As the Philadelphia Eagles await clarity on Dallas Goedert‘s situation, the team is already strategizing for the 2025 NFL Draft to ensure their tight end position is secure for the upcoming season, where they aim to repeat as Super Bowl champions. If Goedert departs, the Eagles could be on the hunt for their own “Travis Kelce” to keep striking fear in the NFL.

The Philadelphia Eagles are targeting their Travis Kelce
It’s clear that bolstering the tight end position is a priority for the franchise. NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Reuben Frank reports that the Eagles are eyeing a tight end in the draft, with Texas Longhorns’ Gunnar Helm emerging as a perfect fit.
“He’s a Texas tight end who would make sense if he’s still on the board when the Eagles pick at the end of the third round at No. 96,” Frank said. “Helm is an NFL-ready pass catcher coming off a breakout senior year in Austin with 60 catches for 786 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s a smooth route runner, has soft hands, and a knack for finding open spaces in the defense. Like most tight ends outside the first round, he’s not an elite blocker, but he’s not terrible and shows a willingness to engage at the line of scrimmage.”
Frank added, “At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Helm has the frame to bulk up and become a three-down player.”
Just as the Eagles struck gold with free agent Saquon Barkley, revitalizing their running back position, they hope to replicate that success with a drafted tight end. While late-round pick Grant Calcaterra has performed admirably as Goedert’s backup, the team needs more reliable receiving options for quarterbackJalen Hurts.
Gunnar Helm appears to be the prime candidate to become the Eagles’ “Travis Kelce,” a game-changing tight end who could make the rest of the NFL wonder who can stop Philadelphia’s offense.

5 big questions for the Dodgers: With eyes on a three-peat, will L.A. bolster its outfield? Add more in the bullpen?
The Los Angeles Dodgers can do whatever they want.MLB’s two-time defending champs, the sport’s new evil empire, remain a juggernaut of horrifying proportions. And still they lurk, like Jaws in Edgartown, waiting to strike on their […]

Salah would regret leaving Liverpool in January, says Carra
Jamie Carragher doesn't see Mohamed Salah playing for Liverpool next season but thinks the forward should delay any immediate thoughts about quitting the club in January to secure a fitting Anfield send-off at the end of the season.Salah appeared to be emotional during what looked like a lap of appreciation after Liverpool's 2-0 win over Brighton at Anfield as he prepares to go off and represent Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. The 33-year-old started on the bench against Brighton but was introduced as a first-half and provided an assist for Hugo Ekitike. It took his tally for goal involvements up to 277 for the Reds in the Premier League, which is more than any other player has managed for a single club. It remains to be seen whether that is his last contribution for Liverpool but Carragher, who strongly criticised the forward for […]
