Muricy Ramalho avalia que, assim como o período nos gramados, Rogério Ceni se transformou em um técnico acima da média no futebol brasileiro. Recordando o período de trabalho ao lado do ex-goleiro, o coordenador do São Paulo não tem dúvidas sobre o profissional de maior qualidade que teve a oportunidade de conhecer no futebol.
“Rogério Ceni é um profissional diferenciado. Um grande profissional. Foi o melhor que eu trabalhei.”, disse Muricy Ramalho, em entrevista ao podcast Milton Neves 100 Mimimi.
Após atuar na seleção, Rogério Ceni, segundo Muricy Ramalho, pode dirigir o Brasil em breve. Além do atual comandante do Bahia, Filipe Luís, do Flamengo, e Roger Machado, do Internacional, foram atrelados como ótimas opções para o cargo.
“Nós temos Rogério Ceni, Filipe Luís, Roger… são técnicos brasileiros que podem assumir. Se prepararam para isso e, com certeza, vamos ter um técnico brasileiro na seleção.”, afirmou.

Em relação ao jogador de maior talento, Muricy Ramalho se mostrou grato por observar o nível impressionante de Neymar. Levando em conta a capacidade de improviso, o antigo treinador do Santos teve o privilégio de, nos treinos, acompanhar uma habilidade absurda.
“O (jogador) mais talentoso eu não tenho dúvidas que foi o Neymar. É o diferente. Tive a oportunidade de ver, todos os dias, as coisas que o torcedor só via quarta e domingo. É um fenômeno. É o rei do improviso. Tem que ser muito técnico para fazer isso. Ele faz o improviso, o adversário adivinha e ele faz outro em cima. Foi o mais completo que eu vi. Foi o principal.”, externou.
