„Es ist nicht immer LaLiga schuld“ – Verbands-Boss schießt gegen Flick

LaLiga-Präsident Javier Tebas (62) hat öffentlich auf die Kritik von Barça-Trainer Hansi Flick (60) reagiert – und dabei auch ordentlich ausgeteilt.

Der deutsche Coach hatte sich kürzlich über die Spielansetzungen in der spanischen Liga beschwert, die seinem Team in der entscheidenden Phase der Saison Nachteile bringen würden.

[–>Tebas konterte deutlich: „Ich muss Flick daran erinnern – er war sehr hart zu mir –, dass er sich auch bei der Uefa beschweren könnte. Warum werden die beiden Halbfinalspiele der Champions League nicht am selben Tag angesetzt, also beide Spiele am Mittwoch? Es ist nicht immer LaLiga schuld!“

Der Liga-Boss verteidigte die spanischen Planungen – und hatte auch lobende Worte für die Blaugrana parat: „Barça zeigt gerade, dass man auch ohne exzessive Transfers Erfolg haben kann. Sie haben viele Top-Spieler aus dem eigenen Nachwuchs und exzellente Scouts. Das ist der Beweis: Man muss nicht wie die Premier League wild einkaufen, um erfolgreich zu sein.“

Tebas lobte zwar die starke Saison der Katalanen, erinnerte aber mit einem Augenzwinkern an die Saison 1980/81 von seinem Lieblings-Klub Real Madrid: „Der FC Barcelona ist Erster, sie stehen im Halbfinale der Champions League und im Finale der Copa del Rey. Sie können alle drei Wettbewerbe gewinnen oder alle drei verlieren.“
