69 Tore, 20 Strafminuten. Das Spiel in der Handball-Bundesliga hatte zwar wenig Klasse, aber umso mehr Rasse. Und Spannung ohnehin. Die Rhein-Neckar Löwen siegten 35:34 gegen den SC DHfK Leipzig, für den es bereits die 7. Niederlage in Folge war. Und zum Glück für die Löwen rächte sich eine ganz kuriose Szene am Ende nicht.

Ein Spiel, in dem es allerdings um nicht mehr allzu viel ging. Die Löwen können vielleicht noch auf den wertlosen 7. Platz kommen, die Leipziger sind im Nirgendwo der Tabelle verschwunden. Deshalb ging es auf der Platte ziemlich locker zu, alle vier Torhüter (Saeveras und Ebner für Leipzig, Späth und Appelgren für die Löwen) waren vor der Pause kaum Faktoren.

Handball: Kurioses Nicht-Tor von Knorr bei den Rhein-Neckar Löwen

Ein munteres Scheibenschießen in einem wilden Spiel auf beiden Seiten, aber auch ein paar technische Fehler zu viel. Jon Lindenchrone Andersen erzielte mit einem Siebenmeter die erste Zwei-Tore-Führung für den Gastgeber kurz vor der Pause, mit einem 18:16 ging es dann auch in die Kabinen.

Hälfte zwei wurde turbulent – und witzig. Ein Torwurf-Aufsetzer von Juri Knorr blieb beim Stand von 26:24 im rechten Dreiangel des Tores zwischen Latte und Pfosten kleben – und vor der Linie (41.). Der Treffer zählte auch ohne Videobeweis nicht. Dann gab es auch noch eine Aggro-Auszeit von Leipzig. Trainer Runar Sigtryggsson stieß seinen Spieler Staffan Peter mit der flachen Hand vor die Brust, brüllte: „Nicht solche Scheiße hier!“

[–>Es blieb wild – und setzte Rot für Halil Jaganjac (Löwen) nach einem Foul an Franz Semper (49.). Die Zeit lief und kein Team konnte sich wirklich absetzen.

Dann hatte Lindenchrone Andersen den Sieg in letzter Minute endlich in der Hand. Doch der Däne setzte den Siebenmeter beim Stand von 35:34 links am Tor vorbei, verpasste seinen 10. Treffer. Leipzig noch einmal im Angriff, doch der letzte Wurf von Luca Witzke war für David Späth kein Problem.

Die Löwen jubeln, die Sachsen hadern mal wieder nach einer knappen Niederlage.
