Er ist derzeit DER begehrteste Handballer der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga, jetzt ist seine Zukunft endgültig geklärt.
Eisenachs Top-Scorer Marko Grgic (21) wechselt zur SG Flensburg-Handewitt – im Sommer 2026! Er wird also noch eine Saison dem Thüringer Kultklub helfen, die Klasse zu halten und dann weiterziehen. Damit halten die Wartburgstädter Wort gegenüber ihren Fans und Sponsoren, dass Grgic frühestens in einem Jahr gehen wird.
[–>Grgic war heiß umworben, besonders Hannover-Burgdorf probierte alles, um den ThSV-Star schon in diesem Sommer nach Niedersachsen zu lotsen. Alles umsonst. Eisenach erklärte Grgic für unverkäuflich. Nach der nächsten Saison greift eine Ausstiegsklausel, wonach er für eine Ablöse von 50.000 Euro gehen kann.

Jetzt ist das Tauziehen beendet – und Grgic glücklich: „Flensburg ist einer der größten Vereine auf der Welt und ich möchte dazu beitragen, dass er wieder dahin kommt, wo er hingehört – nämlich nach ganz oben. Vor allem freue ich mich auf die Fans, die Stehtribüne und alle die, die für den Handball und für diesen Verein leben.“

In Flensburg ist man überglücklich, sich diesen dicken Fisch geangelt zu haben. SG-Geschäftsführer Holger Glandorf (42) lobt seinen neuen Nationalspieler schon jetzt: „Marko ist ein junger Spieler, der trotz seines Alters bereits viele Facetten mitbringt, sich immer weiter entwickeln will und sowohl vorn als auch hinten flexibel eingesetzt werden kann. Für unseren Rückraum bedeutet das eine weitere Variable sowie neue Möglichkeiten und Varianten für das gesamte Spiel.“
Lob vom künftigen Trainer
Auch Flensburgs Trainer Aleš Pajović (46) hat einen positiven Eindruck seines 2026er-Neuzugangs: „Marko ist eines der größten Talente in der Handballwelt. In seinem jungen Alter hat er schon sehr viel Erfahrung und ist bereits Teil der deutschen Handballnationalmannschaft. Es gibt nicht viele Spieler, die das von sich behaupten können. Marko bringt einen guten Charakter und das gewisse Mindset mit. Er will immer das Beste erreichen.“
