The sixth overall pick in the Draft, with so many experts analyzing every scenario, could not disappoint. Tom Brady got what he was looking for, though it wasn’t what everyone expected.

It was practically impossible to pass up the best Running Back in the entire class. A generational talent who arrives to bolster the offense, which will now be led by Geno Smith.
He came just 27 yards shy of breaking Barry Sanders’ legendary NCAA single-season rushing record of 2,628 yards, finishing with 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground. A Heisman Trophy finalist and last season’s runner-up, he also led the Broncos to a Mountain West Conference title and secured their first-ever spot in the College Football Playoff.
Jeanty was one of the most intriguing prospects in the Draft, generating significant excitement after the Running Back position regained prominence in the league with the emergence of Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry.
The only Running Back selected in the Top 10 in the last six Drafts was former Texas Longhorns star Bijan Robinson, who went to Atlanta as the eighth overall pick in 2023.
What Role Does Tom Brady Have with the Las Vegas Raiders?
The historic NFL player is a minority owner of the team in an attempt to turn the organization around. Although Brady has worked almost exclusively remotely, it is reported that he has influence over the team’s decisions, and his impact will become more noticeable over time.
Since the offseason began, the Raiders have already made radical and efficient changes, according to expert analyses, suggesting that the former Patriot was behind the process.
He is also a broadcaster for Fox, which has raised concerns for some due to a conflict of interest.

Pětibojařka Hlaváčková je ve finále Světového poháru v Budapešti
Pro Barboru Hartmanovou, Kateřinu Váňovou a Veroniku Novotnou, která v maďarské metropoli loni vybojovala osmé místo, skončila soutěž ve čtvrtečním semifinále. Stejně v pátek dopadli Matěj Lukeš a Vojtěch Dáňa, už ve středeční kvalifikaci skončily naděje Jana Tomana a Marka Grycze.Hlaváčková se na čtvrtou příčku ve skupině B posunula v závěrečném běhu kombinovaném s laserovou střelbou, před nímž figurovala na 12. místě. Ve finále byla v Budapešti i před rokem, kdy v něm obsadila poslední 18. pozici. Novotné k účasti ve finále nepomohlo ani vítězství v šermu v „béčku“, v kterém byla nakonec dvanáctá.
