In a blockbuster move that shook up the 2025 NFL Draft board, the Jacksonville Jaguars secured electrifying two-way star Travis Hunter by striking a trade with the Cleveland Browns.
According to official reports, Jacksonville traded up to the No. 2 overall pick in order to select Hunter – widely regarded as a generational talent capable of making an impact at both cornerback and wide receiver.

In return, the Jaguars sent Cleveland the No. 5 overall pick, the No. 36 pick in the second round, and the No. 126 pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In exchange, Jacksonville received the coveted No. 2 overall pick, along with the No. 104 pick in the fourth round and the No. 200 pick in the sixth round.
This bold trade signals Jacksonville’s commitment to building its future around a game-changing player. For the Browns, the deal significantly strengthens their draft capital, giving them flexibility to add depth and address key needs across the roster. Following the trade, Cleveland now holds eight picks within the top 200 selections, including three within the top 36.
