Diddy‘s legal battle just took a dramatic turn-he’s rejected a plea deal in his sex trafficking case, and his lawyers are doubling down with a bold defense. During a hearing in Manhattan federal court, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo revealed the hip-hop mogul turned down the offer, opting to fight the charges head-on.
“Diddy rejected a plea deal federal prosecutors offered him,” TMZ reported, noting the deal’s details weren’t disclosed. Agnifilo’s defense? “He’s simply a swinger, not a criminal,” arguing that Diddy’s lifestyle-known for “Freak Offs” with sex workers-was consensual and common.

Diddy, 55, faces serious charges: two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, and one count of racketeering, to which he’s pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors paint a darker picture, alleging he coerced women into sexual performances, often with male escorts, as part of a racketeering scheme.
“It’s relevant to the defendant’s intent that there’s a lifestyle called swingers,” Agnifilo told the judge, adding, “Part of the reason people think it’s appropriate is because it’s common.” X users are buzzing-“Diddy’s team is really going with the swinger defense?” one tweeted-while others aren’t buying it: “Swinging doesn’t equal trafficking,” another countered.
