Diego Souza acredita que, fora de casa, o Vasco vem sofrendo bastante no Brasileirão. Antes do Cruz-Maltino encarar o Cruzeiro, o ídolo do clube carioca sugeriu que João Victor seja mais cauteloso em campo. Isso porque o zagueiro, segundo o discurso, tem “passado dos limites” ao segurar a posse de bola, algo que causa um desequilíbrio tático.
“É um time que joga em transição e dá muito espaço quando tá com a bola. Eu nunca vi isso na minha vida. O Vasco, com os jogadores que tem, não é um time de velocidade jogando fora de casa, quem mais corre com a bola é o zagueiro.”, disse Diego Souza, na Central do Pré-Jogo.
“Ele tem passado dos limites em relação a correr com a bola. Você é zagueiro, a gente precisa de espaço. Caminha com a bola, o cara vai vir e dar espaço para alguém. Entrega a bola com tranquilidade e você dá suporte.”, acrescentou.
Dedé pode servir de inspiração?
Na sequência, Diego Souza comparou João Victor com Dedé. Como o ‘Mito’ costumava acionar os companheiros rapidamente ao realizar desarmes, o mesmo estilo pautado no dinamismo foi sugerido ao zagueiro do Vasco.
“O João Victor é um excelente zagueiro, tem potencial para ser um Dedé no auge. A situação que eu falo dele ser o Dedé e dar liberdade para o Coutinho fazer o que ele quiser. ‘Eu vou estar descansado quando a bola vier, eu roubo a bola e te dou de novo’. Ele tem potencial de velocidade e impulsão.
Ele pode jogar no mano a mano, ele vai estar sempre muito bem porque o biotipo dá essas características para ele fazer isso. Marca e dá a bola para quem sabe jogar. Para de correr com a bola porque vai ajudar bastante o Vasco.”, prosseguiu.

Atuando pelos dois clubes na carreira, Diego Souza aposta que o duelo neste domingo (26), às 18h30, no Parque do Sabiá, vai terminar em empate. Caso o resultado se confirme, o Cruz-Maltino vai seguir com o jejum de vitórias fora de casa no Brasileirão.
