Attendance at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wis., totaled 600,000 fans over three days. The figure ties Nashville for the second-highest total since the draft began rotating locations in 2015 and vastly outnumbered the 250,000 Discover Green Bay, the city’s tourism information center, estimated would attend.

As the NFL’s smallest city, there were logistical concerns about how Green Bay would accommodate fan demand for the weekend. On Day 1, the draft drew 205,000 fans, nearly double the population of the town. Another 175,000 fans came through for Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday and 220,000 turned up on Saturday.
The grand total of 600,000 means the draft drew roughly more than seven times what a Packers home game does.

Just before the Tennessee Titans were on the clock for the first pick Thursday, the Packers posted on X that the event venue reached capacity and entry was temporarily paused. However, that wasn’t necessarily an extenuating circumstance. Detroit also reached capacity on Day 1 of last year’s draft and had to pause general admission entry.

Detroit broke the NFL Draft attendance record with 775,000 fans in attendance over three days. Commissioner Roger Goodell said 275,000 fans went to Motor City for the first round and another 230,000 attended on Friday for Rounds 2 and 3.
Drawing fans to the city comes with an economic benefit, too. The 2025 draft was expected to generate about $20 million for the Green Bay economy and $94 million for the statewide Wisconsin economy.
Next year’s draft will be hosted in Pittsburgh.
