Nesta terça-feira (29), o São Paulo recebe o Náutico no estádio do Morumbis, às 21h30 (de Brasília), pela partida de ida da terceira fase da Copa do Brasil.
A partir desta fase, os confrontos (definidos em sorteio) são disputados em formato de mata-mata, com duelos de ida e volta e, em caso de igualdade no marcador na soma dos resultados, a vaga nas oitavas de final será decidida nas cobranças de pênaltis.
O segundo e decisivo jogo entre Tricolor paulista e Timbu está programado para acontecer no dia 20 de maio, também às 21h30, no estádio Dos Aflitos, em Recife.

A partida no Morumbis será transmitida ao vivo e para todo o Brasil pelo Premiere (em pay-per-view) e o SporTV, canais fechados que pertencem ao Grupo Globo e podem ser adquiridos por meio de um plano de TV por assinatura.

No último sábado (26), o time do técnico Luis Zubeldía visitou a Arena Castelão, em Fortaleza, e mesmo com maior volume de jogo, ficou no empate em 1 x 1 com o Ceará.
O gol são-paulino foi marcado pelo jovem atacante Ryan Francisco, artilheiro e destaque da última edição da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, que pela primeira vez atuou como titular na equipe profissional.
O São Paulo inicia sua trajetória na Copa do Brasil deste ano buscando o segundo título da competição, já que levantou o troféu de forma inédita em 2023, superando o Flamengo na decisão.
E o Timbu? Como vem?
Enquanto o Tricolor paulista mostra evolução dentro das quatro linhas, o Náutico precisa se recuperar na atual temporada.
A equipe treinada por Hélio dos Anjos ainda não venceu na Série C do Campeonato Brasileiro, sendo um empate e duas derrotas, e aparece na zona de rebaixamento em 18º lugar.
O Timbu foi a Maceió no último sábado (26) e saiu derrotado diante do CSA pelo placar de 2 x 1. Em entrevista coletiva depois da partida, o treinador alvirrubro projetou o duelo contra o São Paulo.
“A expectativa é a melhor possível. É uma oportunidade, um privilégio você ir jogar dentro do Morumbi contra o São Paulo. Você só não pode ficar assistindo o São Paulo jogar. Você não pode ser pequeno nas ações. Mas é um jogo muito bom de se fazer. Eu acho um jogo maravilhoso”, declarou Hélio dos Anjos.

São Paulo tem ampla vantagem no retrospecto contra o Náutico
Na próxima terça-feira (29), São Paulo x Náutico acontece pela 23ª vez na história.
Em 22 jogos já realizados entre os dois clubes, o Tricolor possui larga vantagem colecionando 14 vitórias contra somente quatro triunfos do Timbu, mais quatro empates.
A última partida foi disputada há 12 anos, em outubro de 2013, no estádio do Morumbi, em duelo da 29ª rodada da Série A do Brasileirão.
O Tricolor saiu vencedor pela contagem de 3 x 0, com gols de Ademilson, Wellington e Paulo Henrique Ganso.
A temporada de 2013 marcou a despedida do time pernambucano da elite do futebol nacional, que foi rebaixado para a Série B na condição de lanterna, somando apenas 20 pontos em todo o campeonato.
