Die Versetzung in die kommende Spielzeit ist für die Handballer des HSV Hamburg weiterhin nicht sichergestellt. Der HSV zittert um die Zugehörigkeit zur Daikin Handball-Bundesliga (HBL).
Auch am Dienstag war die geforderte Schließung der Liquiditätslücke nicht erfolgt. Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen müssen die Hamburger bis zum 5. Mai (12 Uhr) rund 2 Millionen Euro einzahlen.

„Die Zuversicht ist groß, auch wenn es noch keinen Vollzug zu vermelden gibt“, erklärte HSV-Präsident Kay Spanger (67) am Dienstag auf BILD-Anfrage. „Wir befinden uns in den letzten Zügen der Umsetzung und sind alle sehr positiv gestimmt, dass es klappt.“
Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen soll sich Geschäftsführer Christian Hüneburg (49) am Dienstag Nachmittag mit Aufsichtsrat und Investor Philipp J. Müller (48) getroffen haben, um die finale Umsetzung der Überweisung zu besprechen.

Müller, der dem HSV weiterhin helfen will, zeigte sich im Gespräch mit SPORT BILD zuvor zuversichtlich, dass es eine erfolgreiche Lösung im Lizenz-Krimi geben wird. Müller zu SPORT BILD: „Ja klar, das war ich die ganze Zeit. Ich bin nach wie vor positiv.“
Der Unternehmer hält den Ball aber flach, verweist auf das laufende Verfahren: „Wir können uns ja nicht überheblich in die Presse stellen, wenn man eine Bedingung kriegt. Das ist der Sache nicht dienlich und auch nicht seriös. Und auch der Bundesliga und der Kommission gegenüber nicht seriös. Gehen Sie davon aus, dass sie kurzfristig von uns hören.“ Kurzfristig?

HSV-Geschäftsführer Hüneburg hatte in der vergangenen Woche gegenüber SPORT BILD erklärt, dass „die Sachen dauern. Aber da gilt Gründlichkeit vor Geschwindigkeit“. Er wolle die Liquiditätslücke aber zeitnah, deutlich vor Ablauf der Frist, schließen. „Damit wir dann am 5. Mai um 12 Uhr nicht irgendwelche negativen Überraschungen erleben.“
