In der 2. Handball-Bundesliga sorgt das Spiel von TuSEM Essen gegen den Dessau-Rosslauer HV (27:28) für Gesprächsstoff. Wie vor einigen Wochen bei zwei anderen Zweitliga-Spielen kam es in Essen zu einem unbemerkten Regelverstoß.

Das ist geschehen: Dessaus Tillman Leu kassiert 118 Sekunden vor dem Ende eine Zweiminutenstrafe, der Klub aus Sachsen-Anhalt muss also zumindest in der Abwehr bis zur Schluss-Sirene mit nur fünf Feldspielern plus Torwart agieren.
Drei Sekunden vor Abpfiff liegt Dessau mit einem Tor vorn und hat Ballbesitz, Trainer Uwe Jungandreas nimmt noch eine Auszeit. Bei der Spielfortsetzung stehen aber plötzlich sechs Dessauer Feldspieler und der Torhüter auf der Platte – klarer Regelverstoß wegen der Zeitstrafe für Leu.

Nach Informationen von SPORT BILD hat TuSEM Essen direkt nach Spielende eine Protestnote im Spielberichtsbogen platziert, um nun innerhalb von drei Tagen die Spielwertung auch per formuliertem Einspruch anfechten zu können.
Im März kam es bei den Partien des VfL Lübeck-Schwartau gegen den HC Elbflorenz und des TuS Ferndorf gegen den ASV Hamm-Westfalen zu Regelverstößen mit zu vielen Spielern auf der Platte. Daraufhin hatte der DHB und Schiri-Chefin Jutta Ehrmann unter anderem alle Aktiven an den Kampfgerichten zu digitalen Nachschulungen geladen.
