Casagrande está convicto que, diante do atual cenário, Abel Ferreira é o melhor nome para assumir o comando da seleção brasileira. Às vésperas de mais uma Data Fifa, a CBF segue com a situação indefinida, e o nome do português passou a ganhar força, após o declínio de Ancelotti.

Em vídeo publicado nas redes sociais, o comentarista elencou alguns pontos que credenciam o treinador do Palmeiras para a vaga que está livre desde o último mês, quando Dorival Júnior foi desligado do cargo.

“Eu tentaria o Abel Ferreira que é o melhor treinador que trabalha no Brasil. Ednaldo, esquece o Ancelotti porque está sendo humilhante para nós!”, disse Casagrande na legenda do post.

“Falta um ano para a Copa do Mundo, o Abel é o melhor treinador que trabalha no Brasil ganhou tudo em quatro anos, conhece todos os jogadores que joga aqui e acompanha o futebol mundial. Eu não pensaria duas vezes em fazer uma proposta para ele ser o treinador depois do Mundial”, avaliou.

Casagrande alfineta CBF e Ancelotti

Ainda na linha cronológica dos fatos que envolvem a escolha do novo técnico da seleção brasileira, Casagrande foi enfático ao afirmar que Carlo Ancelotti já deu provas que não quer assumir o escrete canarinho, e disse que Ednaldo Rodrigues tem pagado um grande ‘mico’ ao insistir no italiano.

Na avaliação dele, a CBF perdeu muito tempo ao esperar pelo treinador do Real Madrid, e vem arrastando essa ‘novela’ por um longo período, uma vez que já sabia que Tite não continuaria após a Copa do Mundo de 2022.

Depois do colunista Lauro Jardim, do jornal “O Globo”, informar que a presidente Leila Pereira já teria dado o aval para Abel Ferreira negociar com a CBF, o Palmeiras publicou uma nota nas redes sociais, desmentido a informação.

Segundo o clube palestrino, não houve nenhum tipo de procura da entidade para com a mandatária, e o comunicado ainda salienta que Abel Ferreira está focado em continuar seu contrato no Verdão, que é vigente até o término deste ano.
