Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are preparing to file a lawsuit against celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, accusing him of severe medical misconduct and financial manipulation. The couple alleges that the Beverly Hills-based dentist administered nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, to the rapper in such high and frequent doses that it led to addiction, ultimately compromising his health and decision-making abilities.
According to a formal notice obtained by Page Six, West and Censori are pursuing legal action for medical malpractice, fraud, gross negligence, and exploitation. They claim Connelly charged the rapper a staggering $50,000 a month for the gas while allegedly attempting to seize control of West’s fashion and music company, Yeezy LLC.

Allegations go beyond malpractice into psychological and financial harm
The couple asserts that Connelly’s actions caused West a range of serious damages, including neurological and physical injuries, emotional and psychological trauma, and chemical dependency requiring treatment. They also cite financial losses, harm to West’s brand, and personal strain on their relationship.
In California, patients must give a 90-day notice before officially suing for medical malpractice. This move marks the beginning of what could become a high-profile legal battle involving one of the entertainment industry’s most controversial figures.
Milo Yiannopoulos says he exposed the scheme
This isn’t the first time West’s alleged nitrous use has made headlines. Last year, his representative at the time, Milo Yiannopoulos, claimed publicly that Connelly had intentionally fueled the rapper’s addiction. Yiannopoulos alleged that Connelly’s goal was to impair West mentally in order to manipulate his finances and gain influence over Yeezy. He even filed a complaint with the California Dental Board, accusing the dentist of endangering West and using fake diamonds in cosmetic procedures.
Despite these explosive claims, Dr. Connelly has previously denied all allegations, stating through a representative that Yiannopoulos‘ statements were “factually incorrect” and “intentionally misleading.” Connelly is also the dentist who installed West‘s infamous $850,000 titanium dentures earlier this year.
As of now, the dentist has not responded to the latest allegations from West and Censori. The case is likely to spark public debate about medical ethics, celebrity exploitation, and the blurred lines between luxury treatment and personal harm.
