Barcelona’s kit for their La Liga match against Real Madrid on May 11 will feature the branding of U.S. singer, rapper and songwriter Travis Scott.
Scott, 34, is the latest musician to adorn the Catalan club’s kit for a La Liga fixture against rivals Madrid as part of their sponsorship deal with Spotify. The kit will also be worn by Barcelona’s women’s team for their Liga F match against Athletic Club on May 18.

Barca unveiled the kit on Friday, with the branding for Scott’s record label, Cactus Jack, replacing the Spotify logo on the front of the shirt. The club also confirmed Scott, whose top hit “goosebumps” has over 2.8billion streams on Spotify, would perform at a “private concert exclusively for the most loyal fans of the U.S. singer” on May 10, the evening before the Clasico.
In a club statement, Scott said: “This wasn’t just about throwing Cactus Jack on a jersey. It’s about building something that blurs the line between sound and sport. Being the first artist to perform in Barcelona as part of this collaboration and sharing that moment with my fans just takes it to another level.”

Barca defender Jules Kounde, meanwhile, said the partnership is “powerful” and something he is “hugely inspired by,” while club president Joan Laporta said it “reflects the Club’s desire to interact with our fans in a novel way and brings us closer to new audiences around the world.”
Barca signed a €55million-a-year sponsorship deal with streaming platform Spotify in 2022 for the naming rights to the Camp Nou and the club’s front-of-shirt sponsorship. The company’s logo usually features on Barca’s home and away shirts but this has been replaced by a musical artist in league matches against Madrid.
The logo of English band Coldplay featured on Barcelona’s shirts for October’s 4-0 win over Madrid, following Colombian singer-songwriter Karol G, English rock band The Rolling Stones, Canadian hip hop artist Drake and Spanish pop artist Rosalia in appearing on the club’s home shirt since 2022.
El Clasico is considered one of the biggest club rivalries in world football, pitting Spain’s two most successful clubs against one another. Barca won the two sides’ most recent meeting 3-2 after extra-time in the Copa del Rey final.
The Clasico could potentially be decisive in the La Liga title race. Barca currently lead second-placed Madrid by four points in the table. Barca face Real Valladolid on Saturday while Madrid meet Celta Vigo on Sunday.
