Poprvé inkasovali ve 29. minutě. K přímému kopu se postavil Petr Ševčík a bývalý slávista zakroutil míč přízemní střelou na bližší tyč. Po lehké teči skončil balón za zády Vindahla. Gól ale sparťany pořádně rozlítil – Ševčík se totiž rozbíhal ke střele ještě ve chvíli, kdy sudí Dominik Starý nepískal. Videorozhodčí však trefu potvrdil jako regulérní.

Naděje ale pohasla v 79. minutě. Nebyla z vlastní poloviny vyslal kolmici skrze sparťanskou obranu na nabíhajícího Bienvenueho Kanakimanu. Ten sice napálil Vindahla, ale odražený míč doskákal do sítě.
Sparta tak stále ztrácí v nadstavbové části tři body na třetí Baník, zatímco Jablonec se přiblížil Letenským na rozdíl pěti bodů.
