O futuro técnico da seleção brasileira caminha para ser Carlo Ancelotti, mas Ana Thais tem outra preferência para o cargo. Na avaliação da jornalista esportiva, Abel Ferreira, do Palmeiras, reúne as características que o Brasil precisa neste momento.
Apesar de Jorge Jesus ter feito um sucesso gigante no Flamengo, em 2019, o fato de Abel estar aqui há mais tempo e colecionando taças, a profissional vislumbra o comandante do Verdão como alternativa mais assertiva.
“O Abel a gente já viu ele se reinventar muitas vezes. Ele tem um conhecimento daquilo que a gente precisa neste momento, não só como time, metodologia, mas trazer a confiança destes jogadores. Nos clubes eles vão bem, mas decepcionam na seleção brasileira. O meu preferido seria o Abel”, explicou Ana Thais.
Na semana passada, Abel ganhou força nos corredores da CBF. Segundo Lauro Jardim, de O Globo, negociações estariam avançadas entre as partes, mas o Palmeiras negou. O plano A de Ednaldo Rodrigues sempre foi Ancelotti.

Diferentemente de outras ocasiões, Abel Ferreira, desta vez, falou abertamente sobre o interesse da CBF em seu trabalho. Segundo ele, o fato de estar entre os nomes analisados é um orgulho, mas reforçou seu compromisso com o Palmeiras.
“É uma honra ter o nome associado a uma das melhores seleções do mundo (Brasil), mas é claro e sabido que eu tenho contrato com o Palmeiras. Meu foco é total e absoluto com meus jogadores”, avisou.
Ancelotti fora do Real Madrid?
Segundo o diário Marca, da Espanha, o Real Madrid vai anunciar a saída de Carlo Ancelotti após o clássico com o Barcelona, domingo, pelo Campeonato Espanhol.
“A decisão foi tomada. Aconteça o que acontecer nessa partida, haverá um anúncio da saída do treinador italiano”, diz a publicação.
A seleção brasileira encara o Equador, dia 5 de junho, pelas Eliminatórias.
