The relationship between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, is going through one of its most delicate moments, and Nicola Peltz has decided to intervene. The actress, Brooklyn’s wife, has taken her husband’s side in what she describes as a family relationship marked by conflict, control and rejection.
According to reports from TMZ, Nicola considers her husband’s parents to be “narcissists” and claims that David Beckham has even shouted at his son on the phone for an hour. The Bates Motel actress, 30, claims she has witnessed a difficult family dynamic, where Brooklyn, 26, receives constant verbal criticism from his father.

The distancing is not limited to the parents. There is also a rift between Brooklyn and his brother Romeo, 22, with whom he is currently not in communication. The growing tension became even more evident when Brooklyn and Nicola were not included in the celebrations for David Beckham’s recent 50th birthday celebrations.

Nicola has not remained silent. People close to her say that she “always responds and defends Brooklyn“, an attitude that has not been well received by her in-laws. In fact, it is reported that David and Victoria have excluded Nicola from important family conversations, something that has been painful for the couple.
Despite Brooklyn and Nicola’s attempts to resolve the differences – they have reportedly been “available for months” to talk – dialogue has not flowed. Apparently, the Beckhams have made it a condition that Nicola is not present for such conversations, which has been unacceptable to the couple.
Media outlets such as US Weekly report that Victoria and David are “exhausted” by the family drama and have decided to stop trying to get close to their eldest son and his wife. Although there were efforts by Brooklyn and Nicola to privately celebrate David’s birthday, it seems that the meeting did not materialize.
Family feuds are nothing new. Since the couple’s wedding in 2020, held in Florida, there have been rumors of tensions between Nicola and Victoria. There were reports of disagreements over the wedding dress, the first dance and other aspects of the event. Although both publicly denied these disputes, the relationship does not seem to have fully recovered.
The recent absence of Brooklyn and Nicola in the family photos shared by Victoria, where Romeo, Cruz and Harper do appear, has been interpreted as a confirmation of the estrangement. While Victoria posted images with the message “creating special memories with family and friends”, the lack of presence of the eldest son was noticeable.
Only time will tell whether this fracture can be repaired or whether the tension will continue to deepen in one of the most high-profile families in international entertainment.
