Xabi Alonso (43) und sein bevorstehender Wechsel von Leverkusen zu Real Madrid sind seit Wochen das Dauerthema bei Bayer.
Am Freitag um 14 Uhr spricht der Spanier in der Pressekonferenz über das bevorstehende Heimspiel gegen Borussia Dortmund (Sonntag, 15.30 Uhr/DAZN und im Live-Ticker bei SPORT BILD).
Ob er sich dabei zu seiner Zukunft äußern wird, bleibt fraglich, denn Real Madrid kämpft am Sonntag (16.15 Uhr, live bei DAZN um im Ticker bei SPORT BILD) im Clasico gegen den FC Barcelona um die letzte Chance auf den Meistertitel.

Laut der spanischen Zeitung „Marca“ soll Alonso bis 2028 bei den Königlichen unterschreiben. Er wird Carlo Ancelotti (65) als Trainer ablösen, was offiziell erst am 25. Mai verkündet werden soll – nach dem Ende der spanischen Meisterschaft. Ancelotti wird als heißer Kandidat für den Posten des brasilianischen Nationaltrainers gehandelt.
Alonso werde zwei Co-Trainer aus Leverkusen mit in die spanische Hauptstadt nehmen, schreibt „Marca“. Zum einen den Argentinier Sebastián „Sebas“ Parrilla (47), der mit Alonso im Oktober 2022 bei Bayer angefangen hatte. Der Standard-Experte ist ein enger Vertrauter des Weltmeisters.

Zudem soll der Spanier Alberto Encinas (43) als Athletik-Coach mitkommen. Wobei „Marca“ sich da wohl vertan hat: Encinas ist seit 2021 „normaler“ Co-Trainer bei Bayer, es dürfte sich vielmehr um Ismael Camenforte-Lopez (40) handeln, der Spanier ist nämlich einer der Athletik-Trainer im Stab von Alonso. Camenforte-Lopez arbeitet seit 1. Juli 2022 bei den Profis der Werkself.
Alonso soll die „Blancos“ nach der Klub-WM übernehmen. Derzeit gilt der Argentinier Santiago Solari (48/Direktor Profi-Fußball bei Real) als wahrscheinliche Interimslösung für das Turnier. Zuletzt hieß es, dass Alonso am 15. Juli in Madrid offiziell präsentiert werde.
