ER ist eine große NFL-Legende, aber SIE bestimmt in ihrer Beziehung die Schlagzeilen.
Jordon Hudson (24), Freundin von Football-Trainer Bill Belichick (73/sechs Super-Bowl-Siege mit den New England Patriots), polarisiert und stößt bei dessen Familie angeblich nicht gerade auf Begeisterung. Jetzt soll auch die University of North Carolina, wo Belichick seit diesem Jahr das Football-Team der „Tar Heels“ coacht, nicht gut auf Hudson zu sprechen sein.
Wie der Journalist Pablo Torre in seinem Podcast „Pablo Torre Finds Out“ berichtete, soll Hudson von der Football-Abteilung der Uni ein Hausverbot erteilt worden sein. Hintergrund: Hudson ist teilweise in Belichicks Marketing-Abteilung bei der University of Carolina eingebunden und nutzt wohl Anfragen auch gerne mal dazu, sich selbst zu vermarkten. Das hätte den Verantwortlichen überhaupt nicht gefallen.
[–>Außerdem zitierte Torre eine namentlich nicht genannte Quelle aus dem Umfeld von Belichicks Familie, die nichts Gutes zu berichten hat: „Es herrscht tiefe Besorgnis darüber, wie schädlich Jordon nicht nur für North Carolina sein kann, sondern auch für Bills Vermächtnis, seinen Ruf – für alles, was er über Jahrzehnte aufgebaut und erarbeitet hat.“
Einige Stunden später dementierte die University of North Carolina das Hausverbot jedoch. „Jordon Hudson ist keine Angestellte an der Universität oder den Carolina Athletics, daher ist sie auf den Anlagen des Footballs jederzeit willkommen“, hieß es in einer Stellungnahme.
Und weiter: „Jordon wird weiterhin alle Aktivitäten rund um Coach Belichicks persönliche Marke leiten, unabhängig von seinen Aufgaben für Carolina Football und die Universität.“

Erst vor Kurzem war es im Rahmen einer Pressetour für Belichicks neues Buch zum Eklat um Hudson gekommen. Berichten zufolge soll sie die Aufzeichnung eines gemeinsamen Interviews in der TV-Show „CBS News Sunday Morning“ unterbrochen und um 30 Minuten verzögert haben – angeblich, weil ihr die Fragen zu ihrer Beziehung zum früheren NFL-Coach nicht passten.
Wenig später äußerte sich Jen Belichick, die mit Bills Belichicks Sohn Steve verheiratet ist, bei Instagram zu dem Interview – und ließ dabei kein gutes Haar an Hudson: „PR-Leute handeln professionell und ‚stürmen‘ nicht vom Set, um ein Interview zu verzögern.“
