Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick is preparing to break his silence after weeks of intense media speculation and public scrutiny.
The 73-year-old, now coaching football at the University of North Carolina, will appear on Good Morning America for a live interview with co-host Michael Strahan on Friday, May 16. The highly anticipated conversation coincides with the release of his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, and follows a controversial CBS interview that stirred headlines.
The CBS Sunday Morning segment-intended as a promotional appearance for his memoir-took an unexpected turn when Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, interjected during a question about their relationship’s beginnings.
The moment sparked online debate and reignited questions about the nature of their relationship, which has remained under a media microscope.

Further fueling the narrative, sports journalist Pablo Torre claimed that Hudson had been banned from UNC’s football facilities. Within hours, the university refuted that claim, issuing a statement clarifying that while Hudson is not a university employee, she is “welcome to the Carolina Football facilities.” UNC’s response directly contradicted the allegations made on Pablo Torre Finds Out, even as Torre maintained the credibility of his reporting, citing 11 sources close to the program.
Complicating matters, Torre added that members of the Belichick family have expressed concern about the relationship.
“There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be-not just for North Carolina, but for Bill’s legacy, reputation, everything he has built and worked for over decades,” he quoted a family source as saying.
Jordon Hudson steps into spotlight at Miss Maine USA
While much of the recent attention has focused on Belichick, Hudson herself stepped into a different kind of spotlight over the weekend.
Representing Hancock, Maine, she competed in the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant, finishing as the second runner-up-one spot lower than her first runner-up title the previous year. She also earned the pageant’s “Most Stylish” award, showcasing her poise despite the personal drama swirling around her.
Belichick was present at the event, seated in the front row and offering visible support. After the pageant, the couple was seen leaving together hand-in-hand, a move interpreted by many as a quiet show of unity in the face of mounting public pressure.
Hudson seemed to indirectly address the scrutiny in her on-stage remarks.
“I hope those watching this find the strength to push through whatever it is and embody that hate never wins.”
Her comments appeared to reflect both the media spotlight and the criticism the couple has endured.
