Anunciado como treinador da seleção brasileira pela CBF, na segunda-feira, o italiano Carlo Ancelotti só pensará no Brasil a partir do dia 26. Até lá, ele vai se concentrar nas três partidas que faltam ao Real Madrid pelo Campeonato Espanhol — a equipe tem remotas chances de título após a derrota para o Barcelona — e não participará da elaboração da lista larga para a convocação para as Eliminatórias Sul-Americanas.
No dia 26, Ancelotti é esperado na sede da CBF para a apresentação oficial e o anúncio da convocação da seleção brasileira para os jogos contra Equador e Paraguai, nos dias 5 e 10 de junho, respectivamente, pelas Eliminatórias. No entanto, a lista com 50 nomes deve ser enviada até dia 18 deste mês.
— Eu sei o que vou fazer nessas duas semanas. Tenho que preparar o time para essas três partidas, e tenho na minha cabeça muito claro o que devo fazer. E depois, no dia 26, tenho outra coisa para fazer, e aí vou pensar —disse o treinador, em entrevista coletiva antes do confronto do Real Madrid com o Mallorca, nesta quarta-feira, no Santiago Bernábeu. A despedida será no dia 25, contra a Real Sociedad, também em Madri.
Apesar de negar qualquer participação na convocação, é certo um encontro de Ancelotti com o coordenador executivo Rodrigo Caetano e o coordenador técnico Juan para debater a pré-lista de convocados. A CBF afirmou que a dupla chega na Espanha nesta quarta-feira.
Além de apresentar todas as observações feitas sobre os jogadores brasileiros nas últimas semanas, Caetano e Juan irão alinhar os detalhes da preparação da seleção para os dois jogos das Eliminatórias. O grupo ficará à disposição de Ancelotti a partir de 2 de junho no CT Joaquim Grava, do Corinthians.
— Vamos debater todas as questões técnicas e operacionais do departamento de seleções. Isso inclui a elaboração da lista larga, que será divulgada até o dia 18, e a lista final com os 23 convocados, no dia 26. Será uma oportunidade para definir todos os detalhes com Carlo Ancelotti e os profissionais que farão parte da comissão técnica da seleção brasileira — afirmou Caetano.
