April 21st of this year will be a date that Olivia Dunne will never forget. Dunne said goodbye to collegiate gymnastics with an emotional video.
She thanked the sport for shaping her life, building her character and leaving her with lasting bonds. In two and a half minutes, she relived her time at LSU, from her beginnings to her final goodbye. Emotionally moved, she closed a chapter she will always carry in her heart.

Her 2025 was not what she expected, that much is clear. Dunne only competed four times, but she left her mark. Her 9.8750 on floor reflected her effort, which is even more valuable under the new NCAA system.
Of course, her haters didn’t forgive her, tearing her to shreds on social media in true X-Troll style.

These are the kinds of comments you could read on social media. A little cruel, considering her years of experience in gymnastics, but that doesn’t seem to matter to her haters.

A video posted yesterday by Planet of Gymnastics on Instagram caught the attention of many people.
They shared a video of Olivia Dunne that left a big impression. The video shows her performing impressive acrobatics on the beam, vault and bars. The highlight was a perfectly executed double vault that left her critics speechless.
“I could write a thesis on the misogynistic hate she gets every time she posts about gymnastics. She is/was so talented and it’s great to see her skills being recognized,” one young man wrote in defense of Dunne in the comments.
And this isn’t anything new; her haters have always been very attentive to her career, waiting for any failure to go after her, something that doesn’t seem to bother her at this point in her life and career. Her good moments cannot be forgotten and she makes that very clear on her social media.
