Die Mannschaft von Trainer Vincenzo Italiano besiegt die AC Mailand im Finale der Coppa Italia mit 1:0. Das Tor des Abends im Olympiastadion von Rom erzielte Dan Ndoye (53.) mit einem fulminanten Schuss. Für Bologna ist es der erste Titel seit 51 Jahren. Der Klub ist damit für die Europa League qualifiziert.
