Da hat sich einer aber mal schön den Helm lackiert!
Formel-1-Star Nico Hülkenberg (37) wird beim Rennen in Imola (Sonntag, 15 Uhr, Sky und RTL live, Liveticker bei BILD.de) mit neuem Kopfschutz an den Start gehen.
Der Helm ist in Weiß mit hellrosa Akzenten gehalten. Neben den Sponsoren trägt er auch Hülkenbergs Namen und seine Startnummer 27.
[–>Gestaltet wurde er von Jens Munser Design in Salzgitter. Die Firma kreiert Helme für diverse Formel-1-Fahrer.
Hülkenberg zu SPORT BILD: „Ich hatte einfach Lust auf ein freshes Design mit hellen Farben. Da Sonderhelme auch gerne mal sehr schnell im Schrank verschwinden, wird dieser häufiger zum Einsatz kommen – nämlich bei allen Europa-Rennen.“
Der Deutsche ist nicht der einzige Fahrer, der an diesem Wochenende in Italien mit neu gestaltetem Kopfschutz auf die Strecke geht.
Mercedes-Pilot Kimi Antonelli (18) stellte am Donnerstag das Design für sein Heimrennen vor. Auf dem Helm zu lesen: die Worte „Grazie Imola“ („Danke, Imola“) und der Name Ayrton – in Erinnerung an Ayrton Senna, der 1994 beim Rennen auf dem Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari tödlich verunglückte.

Bei Instagram schrieb Antonelli zu den Fotos seines Helmes: „Einfach schön“.
Aber nicht alle Fahrer in Imola sind glücklich mit ihren Helmen. Im ersten Training beschwert sich Ferrari-Pilot Charles Leclerc (27) über Funk bei seinem Team über das Visier. Durch den Fahrtwind hatte es sich nach oben verschoben.
Der Monegasse: „Es ist wirklich schlimm!“
Wenige Augenblicke später fährt er zurück an die Box, um den Helm zu tauschen.

Die Probleme haben Auswirkungen auf seine Zeit – Leclerc liegt lange nur auf Platz 17. Rettet sich am Ende auf Platz 12.
Die schnellste Runde legt der WM-Führende Oscar Piastri (24/McLaren) hin. Hinter ihm landet sein Team-Kollege Lando Norris (25). Hülkenberg landet auf Platz 10.
