Mayweather’s daughter makes it clear to Canelo, Tyson and Jake Paul who rules boxing

Floyd Mayweather‘s nickname-“Money”-isn’t just a catchy moniker. It’s a brand built on dominance, both in the ring and at the box office.

Across a 21-year undefeated career, Mayweather earned over $1.67 billion, and his daughter, Yaya Mayweather, is making sure the world remembers it.

Antonio Brown gets jumped during a massive brawl after a boxing event

In a recent Instagram post, she celebrated her father’s legacy by pointing out a jaw-dropping statistic: four of the five most successful pay-per-view fights in boxing history all belong to Floyd Mayweather.

In doing so, Yaya didn’t just praise her father-she sent a subtle message to fellow legends like Canelo Alvarez, Mike Tyson, and even Jake Paul, whose names often surface in modern boxing debates. While those fighters have found their own levels of stardom and revenue success, Yaya made it clear who still wears the financial crown.

Jennifer Lawrence recalls ‘extremely isolating’ postpartum period

According to the Ring Magazine graphic Yaya shared, Mayweather’s 2015 fight with Manny Pacquiao tops the all-time PPV chart with 4.6 million buys and over $600 million in total revenue. His 2017 bout against Conor McGregor follows closely behind with 4.3 million buys and similar revenue.

In third place is his clash with Oscar De La Hoya (2.8 million PPVs, $165 million), while his 2013 victory over Canelo Alvarez is fourth with 2.2 million buys and $150 million in earnings. The fifth spot belongs to Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield‘s 1997 rematch, which sold 1.95 million PPVs and generated $180 million.

Mayweather vs Canelo: The rivalry continues-at the bank

Yaya accompanied the post with a cheeky comment: “b**h my daddy that thang too.”* And she’s not exaggerating-Mayweather’s career PPV total sits at a staggering 24 million units, with total earnings approaching $1.5 billion.

However, Canelo Alvarez may be closing the gap. His business manager, Richard Schaefer, recently told The Ring that Canelo could become boxing’s first true billionaire, citing his financial savvy and massive new deal with Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh.

That four-fight agreement is reportedly worth $500 million, and Canelo has already earned more than $600 million throughout his career.

Schaefer praised Canelo‘s approach, saying: “Canelo is, without any question, the smartest businessman in boxing I have ever met… He’s going to be the first fighter to break the billion-dollar net worth.” Unlike Mayweather-whose total income surpassed $1.2 billion but whose net worth is closer to $400 million-Canelo‘s financial strategy appears to be more conservative and long-term.

With an expected payday of $100 million for his upcoming bout against Terence Crawford, Alvarez‘s trajectory is clear. “If we talk about money, it’s never enough,” he told reporters. “But I still enjoy boxing. That’s why I’m here.”

So while Yaya Mayweather‘s post rightfully defends her father’s legendary accomplishments, the landscape of boxing’s richest star may shift in the coming years.

For now, though, the numbers don’t lie-Floyd Mayweather still reigns supreme, and his daughter is making sure everyone remembers.

Mayweather’s pay-per-view legacy faces its biggest challenger yet

As the sport evolves and mega-fights shift toward Saudi Arabia and digital platforms, the financial bar set by Mayweather is one only a select few can even dream of reaching.

Whether Canelo becomes boxing’s first billion-dollar man remains to be seen, but what’s certain is this: Floyd Mayweather‘s financial dominance wasn’t just luck-it was a blueprint, one his daughter continues to proudly share with the world.

49ers get A+ for Fred Warner contract extension — but how do rest of splashy offseason moves grade out?

USATSI The San Francisco 49ers are having one of the most interesting offseasons in recent memory, taking care of their own players while letting a significant amount of talent depart. The latest major move by the 49ers involved standout linebacker Fred Warner, who inked a contract extension that made him the highest-paid linebacker in the NFL.  The Warner extension was the second major move the 49ers completed over the last four days, inking Brock Purdy to a massive contract extension that made him one of the seven highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL. San Francisco also signed George Kittle to a contract extension in April. Prior to these extensions, the 49ers watched other teams sign their players in free agency. Teams spent $319 million on the 49ers' free agents, the most money spent on a team's departing free agents in NFL history. […]

NBA rumors: Teams expect 76ers to consider trading No. 3 pick with Kevin Durant as a potential target

Getty Images The Philadelphia 76ers just endured several months of desperately clinging to their first-round pick. If the pick had landed outside of the top six, it would have gone to the Oklahoma City Thunder, so the 76ers spent the second half of last season tanking in an effort to keep it. Last week, that pick officially landed at No. 3 overall, and now that the 76ers have actually secured it, they need to decide what to do with it.After the NBA Draft Lottery, top 76ers executive Daryl Morey said that the "plan is to keep" the pick. The rest of the league, however, does not seem to trust him. ESPN's Jonathan Givony is reporting that "some teams expect the Sixers to be active in trade conversations" now that they know where they are picking. Two names Givony mentions as candidates? […]

Luis Perez’s head-scratching decision headlines UFL storylines from Week 8

Eric Williams NFL Reporter <!--> With the Arlington Renegades trailing by three points and needing only a field goal to send the game into overtime, quarterback Luis Perez took matters into his own hands — with disastrous results.Instead of spiking the ball to set up a long field goal, Perez faked the spike and tried to connect on a quick out route to get a couple yards closer. However, DC Defenders cornerback Deandre Baker picked off the fluttering pass to seal a 33-30 victory and a spot in the postseason. "I thought we were just spiking the football and were going to kick the field goal," Arlington head coach Bob Stoops said. "And Luis thought he had the out route, so he threw it. It didn’t work that way."Despite Perez’s season-high 350 passing yards, the Renegades were eliminated from the playoffs […]

Nick Sirianni, with multi-year contract extension in the bag, nearing status as Eagles’ best coach ever

Getty Images PHILADELPHIA -- There was never a doubt the Philadelphia Eagles were going to extend Nick Sirianni, at least after a Super Bowl championship victory. With Sirianni headed into the final year of his contract, the Eagles rewarded their head coach with a multi-year extension that will keep him in Philadelphia for years to come.  What Sirianni has accomplished in Philadelphia in just four seasons is unlike anything the NFL has ever seen. Sirianni is the only head coach in the Super Bowl era to make four playoff appearances, reach two Super Bowls and win a Super Bowl title in his first four seasons. He's the only head coach to take the Eagles to two Super Bowl appearances in franchise history and just the second head coach to lead the organization into two NFL championship games.  Sirianni sports a 48-20 […]
