This isn’t the first time someone has asked Rockstar Games for money after claiming that a character in their video game,GTA 6, looked too much like them
It happened some time ago with the Florida Joker, who demanded in a very bad way financial compensation for (according to him) violating his image rights and using it for commercial purposes

Now it has been a random man who has jumped in asking for the same thing, and the community claims that the studio’s response has been to change the character design

As shown by GTA 6 Countdown, Rockstar has changed the character’s hairstyle between the 2023 and 2025 trailers. In the second video, he is wearing a red cap and his dreadlocks have been edited. In addition, his glasses are different, but it is the same person.
He wears the same clothes and chains, so it is the same character with a style change. Of course, the community has not sided with this person, as they consider that he is only trying to get money out of Rockstar and GTA VI over nonsense and coincidence.
He thinks that Rockstar Games has used him as a model because he wears the same glasses and dresses like him, has the same hairstyle, etc. Personally, it seems to me a senseless claim and must be pure coincidence.
Ultimately, characters in white tank tops and gold chains is something we’ve seen many times both in real life and in video games. On the other hand, that kind of dreadlocks are also very common. It doesn’t make much sense.
Some even dare to go further. One user picks up on one of the most common expressions in almost any video game, especially when people appear:
“This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are the product of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously and should not be construed as real. Any resemblance to actual events, places, organizations or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.”
You have surely come across this disclaimer on other occasions and GTA 6 will surely be no different. Nevertheless, the studio has decided to change the appearance of this character.
There are those who believe that it was a coincidence and that they have simply updated it, while others understand that Rockstar has decided to cover its back because the video exposed by GTA 6 Countdown was very viral in the US at the time.
