Nach Informationen von SPORT BILD hatte die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf den jungen Rückraumspieler zumindest auf dem Zettel, die Füchse Berlin, der SC Magdeburg und die MT Melsungen haben sehr großes Interesse an seiner Verpflichtung. Auch Frankreich-Klub und Champions-League-Halbfinalist HBC Nantes ist am Mega-Talent dran.
„Ich hoffe, dass mich mein Weg dereinst auch in die Bundesliga führt“, sagte Sigrist während der Weltmeisterschaft 2025 der „Luzerner Zeitung“. „Wahrscheinlich noch nicht in diesem Sommer, aber vielleicht im nächsten.“
[–>Sigrist hat beim HC Kriens-Luzern noch bis 30. Juni 2026 einen Vertrag. Die Chancen, ihn gegen Ablöse schon in diesem Sommer zu bekommen, gelten in der Branche als gering. Der Rechtshänder ist im Folgejahr ablösefrei, er soll seinen Favoriten auch schon identifiziert haben – die MT Melsungen.
Dort feilt Sportvorstand Michael Allendorf am Kader für die kommenden Spielzeiten. Die Talent-Spürnase aus Nordhessen hat nach Informationen von SPORT BILD bereits ein großes europäisches Talent von Melsungen überzeugt. Mit dem Isländer Reynir Thor Stefansson (19, Fram Reykjavik) soll ein Dreijahresvertrag ab 1. Juli 2025 klar sein.
Melsungen muss Samstag (15 Uhr, live bei Dyn/Anzeige) im ersten Halbfinale bei Final4 der European League gegen die SG Flensburg-Handewitt ran. Das zweite Halbfinale bestreiten der THW Kiel und Montpellier Handball (18 Uhr, live bei Dyn).
