Trefa Ehlerse z 58. minuty znamenala vyrovnání a K.O. šokovanému favoritovi zasadil 49 sekund před třetí sirénou českobudějovický forvard Nick Olesen.
„Po vedoucí brance jsme byli v dobré pozici, jenže věci se velmi rychle změnily. Šli po nás opravdu tvrdě a hráli skvěle. Po vyrovnání měli opravdu navrch,“ přiznal Sidney Crosby.
