Matej Klima, Handball-Profi beim SC DHfK Leipzig, und seine Ehefrau Stefanie freuen sich über die Geburt ihrer Tochter Lia. Sie kam am Freitag, um 9.15 Uhr, in Lübeck zur Welt. Klima happy: „Sie war 53 Zentimeter groß und 3640 Gramm schwer. Das ist schon sportlich.“

Der tschechische Nationalspieler, der sich nach einer schweren Knieverletzung noch im Reha-Training befindet, war bei der Geburt dabei: „Wir sind alle sehr glücklich.“

Glücklich wäre auch sein Klub, wenn der Rückraumspieler zur nächsten Saison wieder auf der Platte stehen könnte. Im Oktober riss er sich im Spiel gegen Melsungen unter anderem das Kreuzband im rechten Knie. Stück für Stück kämpft er sich nun zurück.

Klima sagt: „Es geht ganz gut. Ich war schon wieder in der Halle und habe die ersten Tests bestanden. Aber vom Handballtraining ist es noch weit entfernt. Noch kann ich aber nicht sagen, wann ich genau wieder voll einsteigen kann. Ich muss geduldig bleiben.“
