On a day meant for remembrance and gratitude, the Dunne family brought both warmth and nostalgia to social media. Kat Dunne, mother of viral sensation and former LSU gymnastics star Livvy Dunne, took a heartfelt trip down memory lane this Memorial Day, posting an adorable throwback of her daughters Livvy and Julz Dunne dressed in their childhood tee-ball uniforms.
Livvy may be a national champion, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model, and one of the most prominent influencers in sports today-not to mention the girlfriend of MLB pitcher Paul Skenes – but Monday’s post reminded fans of simpler times.
In the photo, young Livvy and Julz beam alongside their dad David Dunne, celebrating a past Memorial Day as a close-knit family.
Kat Dunne captioned the image with a message full of pride and love, offering fans a glimpse into the roots of the now-famous sisters’ bond. And that bond still runs deep. Julz, 24, reposted the image to her own social media with a typically playful quip: “Pain is temporary, swag is forever.” Known for her humor and vibrant energy, Julz often keeps things light-even when reliving moments from their childhood.

The Dunne sisters have long shared more than just genetics. From Julz’s passionate celebration after one of LSU’s gymnastics victories, to their stylish matching pink dresses at the Kentucky Oaks horse race, and recent courtside appearances in Knicks gear during the NBA Playoffs, the two have built a strong and stylish sisterhood.
