O Gigante da Colina venceu o Melgar por 3 a 0 em casa, confirmando a 2ª colocação do Grupo G e garantindo vaga nos playoffs do torneio.
Já o Corinthians não conseguiu pontuar contra o Huracán fora de casa e com a derrota por 1 a 0 terminou a fase de classificação na 3ª colocação do Grupo C, eliminado do torneio.

Brasileiros que ainda podem avançar na Copa Sul-Americana
A fase de grupos da competição terá jogos na quarta-feira (28), e quinta-feira (29), com cinco times do país entrando em campo.
O Cruzeiro apenas cumpre tabela contra o Unión de Santa Fé, também eliminado, mas o uma derrota deixa a Raposa na lanterna do seu grupo. Já o Vitória encara a Universidad Católica na busca por vaga na fase de playoffs.
Fluminense e Grêmio ainda podem avançar direto para às oitavas de final, mas precisam vencer Once Caldas e Sportivo Luqueño, respectivamente. No caso do Flu, o confronto direto decide a situação no Grupo F enquanto o Imortal depende de uma tropeço do Godoy Cruz, líder do Grupo D.
Porém os dois tricolores já garantiram pelo menos o 2º lugar de seus grupos, ou seja, estarão pelo menos nos playoffs.
Por fim, o Atlético-MG recebe o Cienciano dependendo apenas de uma vitória para assumir a primeira colocação do Grupo H e vaga nas oitavas. Porém uma derrota pode fazer o Galo ser ultrapassado pelo Caracas e ficar fora até mesmo dos playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana.
