Mit 22 Treffern wurde Davie Selke (30) Zweitliga-Torschützenkönig und hat mit seinen Leistungen großen Anteil am Bundesliga-Aufstieg des HSV. Doch nach wie vor ist seine Zukunft nicht geklärt. SPORT BILD enthüllt jetzt neue Details im Vertragspoker zwischen dem Angreifer und dem Traditionsverein.
Selke will bis Mitte, spätestens Ende Juni seine Zukunft geklärt haben. Seit Januar sind beide Seiten im Austausch. Vor wenigen Wochen sahen sie sich auf einem guten Weg – bisher aber ohne positives Ergebnis. Darum beschäftigt sich der ab dem 1. Juli ablösefreie Profi mit anderen Möglichkeiten. Selke liegen Anfragen aus den USA, aus England, aus den Emiraten, Saudi-Arabien sowie aus der Bundesliga vor.

Holt am Ende sogar Steffen Baumgart (53) den Stürmer zu Union Berlin? Hintergrund: Beide arbeiteten in der Bundesliga (Saison 2023/24) beim 1. FC Köln vertrauensvoll zusammen. Dank des Trainers kam Selke vergangenen Sommer zum HSV. Und: Die Köpenicker wollen ihre Offensive verstärken.
Noch bleibt Selke cool, weil er weiß: Aufgrund seiner starken Saison hat er einen Markt. Grundsätzlich möchte er in Hamburg bleiben. Doch der HSV bot ihm bisher nur einen Zweijahresvertrag mit Option. Selke fordert einen Dreijahres-Kontrakt, dazu eine Erhöhung seines Grundgehaltes. Von 1,8 Millionen Euro im Jahr ist die Rede.
Zum Wochenstart tauschte sich Sportvorstand Stefan Kuntz (62) mit Trainer Merlin Polzin (34) aus. Neben Selke wurden auch andere Namen diskutiert. Ganz oben auf der Agenda: Ludovit Reis (24). Der Mittelfeldspieler, dessen HSV-Vertrag bis 2026 läuft, will zu Club Brügge. Der belgische Traditionsklub bot zuletzt rund drei Millionen Euro Ablöse. Ob das reicht?

Außerdem habe Bayer Leverkusen im Fall Jonathan Tah (29) vorgemacht, auch mal hart zu bleiben – mit dem Risiko, einen wichtigen Spieler ein Jahr später ablösefrei zu verlieren.
Der HSV-Boss hat zwar Verständnis für Reis’ Ziel, so schnell wie möglich den Sprung in Hollands Nationalmannschaft zu schaffen. Doch das könne er nun auch als HSV-Spieler in der Bundesliga schaffen. Darüber hinaus will der HSV Reis einen Verbleib mit einer Vertragsverlängerung schmackhaft machen. Das gilt auch für Stürmer Ransford Königsdörffer (23), dessen Kontrakt ebenfalls 2026 endet. Wie Reis soll er mindestens bis 2027 oder 2028 gehalten werden.
