Die Entscheidung ist gefallen – gegen den FC Bayern!
Leverkusens Ausnahmetalent Florian Wirtz (22) wird nicht zum Rekordmeister wechseln. Stattdessen zieht es den Nationalspieler zum FC Liverpool.
TV-Experte Didi Hamann (51) hat Verständnis für die Wahl von Wirtz. Er sagt bei „Sky“: „Florian Wirtz hat eine Entscheidung getroffen. Ich glaube, dass es die richtige Entscheidung ist. Unter Arne Slot passiert ja wirklich etwas in Liverpool. Sie werden noch zwei oder drei andere Spieler holen oder holen wollen, so wie ich das höre. Deswegen glaube ich, dass Wirtz eine sehr gute Entscheidung getroffen hat.“
[–>Hamann erläutert seine Meinung: „Liverpool ist ein Welt-Verein und das haben sie jetzt auch bei den Verhandlungen gezeigt. Den Kontakt zu Florian Wirtz gibt es wohl schon seit Wochen oder Monaten und man hat nie etwas gehört. Ich glaube, das hat auch der Familie Wirtz imponiert, wie man das gemacht hat: diskret, ruhig, alles im Hintergrund.“
Von 1999 bis 2006 hat Hamann selbst für den FC Liverpool gespielt und ist unter anderem 2005 mit Liverpool Champions-League-Sieger geworden. Er kennt den England-Klub bestens – und weiß, was Wirtz dem Verein bringen kann.
Hamann ist sich sicher, dass Liverpool von dem deutschen Nationalspieler profitieren wird. Seine Ansicht: „Florian Wirtz macht andere besser. Ich glaube, er ist ein Spieler, der überall spielen kann. Deswegen hätte er ja auch die Möglichkeit gehabt, möglicherweise zu Real Madrid oder zum FC Bayern zu gehen. Liverpool hat schnelle Spieler: Jeremie Frimpong wechselt ja auch nach Liverpool, den kennt Wirtz schon sehr gut. Dann hast du Spieler wie Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, die in Szene gesetzt werden müssen.“

Mit diesen vielen schnellen Spielern um Wirtz herum, müsste es nach Hamanns Meinung ein Super-Transfer werden. Er feiert den Wechsel bereits jetzt: „Es wird nicht lange dauern, bis die Fans in Liverpool Florian Wirtz lieben werden. Ich kann es nicht erwarten, sollte es so kommen, wenn er zum ersten Mal das rote Trikot anhat. Ich glaube, dass er nach wenigen Wochen ein ‚Fan-Favourite‘ sein wird und in Liverpool Großes erreichen kann und wird.“
